My name is Ashley Walker, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, in Pace, Florida. I have resided in Pace since 1995, and I’m so proud of the supportive community it has become. I grew up here and now raising my own two beautiful children, age 4 and 7, in the same community. Having divorced parents myself, I understand the conflicts and struggles families experience when a marriage ends.

In my experience as a mental health counselor, I have worked extensively with children and families. Having worked in Private Practice, Juvenile Detention Centers, Infant Mental Health In-Home Therapy Settings, and School Settings, I have supported and guided many families through the challenges they have faced as well as equipped them with tools to use in future endeavors.

Parenting is tough!! I’m raising two vibrant children myself, and this comes with many challenges. I’m honored to bring an evidenced based curriculum to you in a relaxed learning atmosphere. The DCF approved Family Stabilization class, “A Child’s Life Depends on Peaceful Resolutions” has been well received by those who have completed it, and best of all, it is geared toward giving families the tools they need to lower their stress levels and improve their relationships and communication with each other. My objective for you is to finish this class with having awareness of what children may be going through during this transition and the skills needed to support them.

My favorite thing about Florida is our beautiful beaches, and Pensacola is the home of the U.S. Navy Blue Angels which are amazing to watch fly over the beaches of Pensacola.
